Precision Parking Sensor Hole Cutter
The original, pro-grade PPF sensor-hole solution—engineered for speed, concentric accuracy, and repeatable results on flat or curved panels.
- Micro blade-depth control with tactile clicks (~20 μm increments)
- Adjustable cut diameter: 18–32 mm
- Self-aligning tungsten-carbide blade on precision bearings
- Suction-cup foot + adjustable drag “brake” for consistent feel
18–32 mm (micro-stepped)
Click-indexed (~20 μm)
Tungsten-carbide, self-aligning
Suction cup, curved-panel ready
Key Features
- By installers, for installers. Developed, refined, and field-tested over years of real PPF work.
- Pin-point concentricity. Self-aligning carbide blade runs on precision bearings for truly round cuts.
- Micro-depth indexing. Click-based depth steps (~20 μm) let you dial-in depth for different films and stretch levels.
- 18–32 mm range. Covers the vast majority of PDC sensors without swapping tools.
- Suction-cup stability. Locks onto the panel—even on subtle curves—for consistent, controlled rotation.
- Adjustable “brake”. Tune rotational/longitudinal drag for your preferred feel and film stack.
- Serviceable. Replaceable blade, tip, and suction cup; precision components for long-term reliability.
Note: Always confirm sensor diameter and film stack before the first production cut.
Quick Start
- Set the drag “brake” for a smooth, controlled feel.
- Measure the vehicle’s PDC sensor; set the cutter diameter accordingly.
- Verify blade orientation; set blade depth for your film. On stretched film, bias slightly shallower.
- Make a test cut on scrap film laid over a hard, flat surface (backer side).
- Center the suction foot on the sensor; press to seat and confirm concentric alignment.
- Hold the tool near-perpendicular; rotate once with light pressure—depth is a setting, not force.
- Pass the start point by at least a quarter turn to close the cut. A second rotation can help on curves.
- Lift an edge with plastic tweezers/fingernail, pull inward, then peel around without lifting both sides at once.
Pro Tips
- For very soft films, go shallower and use lighter rotational pressure.
- On high-crown curves, consider a second light rotation rather than increasing depth.
- If the start/stop point shows a tiny ligament, extend the rotation ~⅓ turn further past the start.
- Keep the suction cup and panel clean for best grip and concentricity.
- Practice your settings on scrap each time conditions change (film, stretch, temperature).
Maintenance
- Main shaft: apply ~½ drop of 20W synthetic/semi-synthetic oil without sulfur EP additives; wipe excess.
- Keep components dry; avoid solvents/corrosives.
- Replace blade/tip/suction cup as needed to maintain cut quality.
- Store in a protective case to prevent contamination of the suction foot and blade.

FAQ
Q: Will it cut on highly curved panels?
A: Yes—use lighter depth, ensure strong suction, and consider a second light rotation.
Q: How do I avoid over-cutting stretched film?
A: Bias depth slightly shallower and keep rotational pressure light; verify with a scrap test.
Q: What maintenance schedule is recommended?
A: Light oiling of the main shaft (½ drop, 20W, no sulfur EP) when feel degrades; wipe excess.
Q: Do you sell replacement blades/tips?
A: Yes—see our spares & accessories below.
